This is a TOP rare genuine saber toothed cat skull fossil (Machairodus giganteus) has been professionally prepared and restored to museum quality recently.
It has reached the maximum size of 41.5cm (front to rear in straight line) that a Machairodus Giganteus can grow up to. It is very rare to acheive this size, and extremely difficult to find another saber toothed cat skull in this size and condition.
Its has a pair of strong saber tooth which is very long at 11.5cm, for sure, it is the main focus for this saber toothed cat skull.
The lower jaw is detachable from the maxilla. This specimen comes with a tailor-made display stand as shown in the photos.
A protective layer has been applied on the surface to avoid it from absorbing moisture, so this specimen is fit for display for decades.
